Description
Lighthouses are lovely, romantic places to visit, but you might not want to live there. They inhabit spots where the weather is foul and the geography dangerous. Many lighthouse families lived as virtual prisoners, their only contact with the outside world the supply boat from the mainland. More than a few people went mad.
