Description
This language program emphasizes the importance of pronouncing French words and phrases so that the speaker can be understood by the French and French Canadians. It presents exercises in sound discrimination and accurate sound creation-for example instructing in pronunciation of French vowel sounds and nasals such as eu and oei, which many English speakers find especially difficult to master.
