Description
A love story set in the late 1960s about a young singer (Teri) and a piano player (Andre). Teri and her brother (Tim) are close fraternal twins who haven't sorted out their gender identities. Teri is a tomboy, and Tim is a sensitive boy who falls short of their father's expectations. Tim believes he can prove his manhood by dropping out of college and enlisting in the army, and Teri is trying to stop him since she is afraid he will be sent to Vietnam. When she falls in love with Andre she begins to find her gender identity, but she struggles to maintain her spiritual identity when her faith is tested by events.
