Description
In 1976, NASA sent 2 spacecraft to land on different areas of Mars. The real successof the Viking missions lay in the images of the surface aht were received on Earth. A real interesting image showed an area of the planet's Cydonia region covered by an unusual number of large mesas, one of which had the appearance of a giant sculptured face staring upward. Was it really an artifact of an intelligent society? If it was one, what sort of civilization constructed it? The NASA annouced that it was not, but, the story continues.
