A New York Public Library Book for the Teen Age Kat Albrecht is the only law-enforcement based pet detective in the United States. Since 1997, Albrecht and her search dogs have located lost cats, dogs, ferrets, turtles, horses, and other species using techniques that are normally used to solve missing person investigations.
