Deceptions of the HeartA devilishly handsome, wickedly insatiable lover, Lord Martin Kestrel can have any woman he desires. Yet "Abigail Perry," his longtime confidante, is the only woman he would ever deign to marry. But the lady's life is a lie. The prim enchantress who would tempt him with respectability is no "Abigail" at all, but Harriet MacLeod — brazen deceiver...and a spy. So now, as punishment for toying with Kestrel's heart, she must pay with her innocence.

Harriet's sole intention was to serve her Queen, not to fall in love. And new she must use the man once again to succeed in her covert endeavors. Martin's eagerness to allow her to pose as his mistress at an important gathering, however, gives Harriet pause — even as it heats her passion to boiling. Butwhen the masquerade turns all too deliciously real, will she and Martin be strong enough to handle the consequences?
