To add to the confusion, Style's chic staff displays an alarming talent for subterfuge. Everyone is more than willing to give Inspector Tibbett the low-down of the magazine's secret domestic relations, but the unassuming Inspector soon imagines this is all part of a clever plot to keep him from discovering the truth about murder.
