In the Jewel Kingdom, four young princesses each hold a gem-name and a place of honour: Roxanne is the Ruby Princess, Sabrina the Sapphire, Emily the Emerald, and Demetra the Diamond. Roxanne, the one about to take up her crown, has second thoughts. She is not sure she is ready for the duties of royalty, so she sets off to leave it all behind. Before she has travelled far, she discovers a scheme to seize the kingdom, and someone is pretending to be her. If she does not act quickly, the Jewel Kingdom could be lost for good.
