True Discipleship

This short work examines what Jesus asked of those who would follow him, as set out in the New Testament. The author argues that the requirements of discipleship are demanding yet practical, and that they bring a settled peace beyond human understanding. Discipleship, in his view, is not a partial arrangement but a complete commitment to Christ, a response fitting to the sacrifice made at Calvary. Two further chapters follow, one asking where a reader's treasure truly lies and another praying that the Lord would break down self-will.
