Star-Crossed

A high-school student is handed the lead role of Juliet in her school's production of Shakespeare's tragedy. There is one problem: the boy cast as Romeo is someone she cannot stand. Their families have been bitter rivals for generations, and that feud follows them from rehearsals into the corridors of their school. She is certain that no amount of stage kissing will change how she feels about him. Still, spending weeks opposite him may test that certainty more than she expects. The book is a lighthearted modern take on the old story of two young people from warring households.
