Initiating Christian

Adam, the Duke of Bellingham, is a notorious rake, yet he has a favor to ask of Lauren DeSerre. She is a widow admired for her beauty and composure, who keeps well away from society gossip. The two were lovers briefly long ago and have since remained on friendly terms. Her poise is tested when he proposes that she share a night of intimacy with his younger brother, Christian. Adam claims that Christian has long harbored a private desire for her and has turned away every eligible young lady at court because of it. Lauren is startled, but she finds herself drawn to the idea. As she weighs the proposal, she begins to wonder whether the arrangement might bring her as much pleasure as it would him.
