Hellboy II: The Art of the Movie

This paperback gathers artwork from Mike Mignola's Hellboy comics, including pieces that never appeared in the earlier hardcover. Alongside finished images are unused and unfinished covers, drawn from a decade of sketchbook work. The book shows how Mignola designs characters, plans his storytelling and handles color, with many pages of art seldom shown before. It offers a close look at the process behind one of the most celebrated comic series of its time.
