Ricardo is your average chupacabra on the run from the law. You know the type. Sometimes a twisted, goat-sucking creature of the night, sometimes an average-looking Joe (though he calls himself Sam), Ricardo is just trying to make his way in a world that fears and hates him — but only because it misunderstands him.
This new, off-the-wall breed of story with a classic outlaw vibe will start you out scratching your head, then grab you by the heart and not let go, leading one reviewer to claim:
— "A change from Platt & Truant's earlier, even more outlandish Unicorn Western, Chupacabra Outlaw has a surprising amount of heart and (believe it or not) realism, considering the title and premise. A moving story that this reader dearly hopes will progress into a full-length series."
