Paper Husband

A rancher's daughter in Texas faces an unwelcome choice: wed a tall, imposing local man or lose the land she calls home. The arrangement she is pushed toward is meant to be a formality, a practical means to an end with no real feelings involved. Yet living under the same roof stirs up emotions neither of them planned for. The pressures of the ranch, the watchful eyes of the town and an unexpected complication make the bargain harder to keep than either expected. This is a story about duty, pride and the slow, uncertain path toward a love that was never part of the deal.
