Contagious

A new virus is spreading, and Ava Mason, who has come to a seminar at a hotel, is exposed to a carrier without knowing it. Early one morning, officers pound on her door and take her and her three children away to a quarantine site. Nobody tells them what is happening. Ava and the others are sealed into the Ambassador, one of many locations shut off in an effort to contain the outbreak. Outside, the world slides into violence, illness and economic ruin, and the hotel becomes both a prison and a refuge. Inside, the group forms bonds while watching the people around them fall ill. For Ava, the most important thing is protecting her children, but she has to ask whether she can hold back an enemy that threatens everyone.
