Broken Song

Penny Franklin is a name long associated with a blend of punk and hard rock, and for more than twenty years she was a fixture on the airwaves. Stepping away from the spotlight to spend time with her children seemed like a sensible choice, but it cost her nearly everything: her family, her fame and her money. Her troubles deepened until a routine checkup brought a new problem. Overwhelmed and sinking into despair, she begins to consider ending her life. Then she meets Sandra, a woman whose kindness turns Penny's world upside down. Sandra shows her what selfless devotion and love can look like, and she does it in a way that is anything but conventional.
