Starfall

M has spent years as a shy, overlooked girl, but now she rules Nuath, a colony on Mars, as its newly crowned Sovereign Emileia. The position has come at a steep personal cost. Her soulmate, Rigel, is gone from her life, and the future feels empty. She is expected to set aside her grief and carry out the duties of her office, which she does, though without much enthusiasm. Then an unexpected discovery gives her a reason to hope again. Determined to win the happy ending she has always wanted, she must decide how far she will go, even if the moment to act may already have passed. This is the final book in the Starstruck series, a teen romance set within science fiction and alien powers.
