Shaker Town

Taryn's Camera seriesbook 4 of 5Next:Jekyll Island(2015) →

Taryn Magill, a mixed-media artist, is glad to leave behind a draining stretch in Georgia. She accepts a post at Shaker Village, a restored historic site in central Kentucky, where she hopes to rest and recharge. Her camera, Miss Dixie, begins capturing images from the past, and at first the glimpses of the Shakers at work thrill her. Then she sees a killing that seems to belong to that earlier era, and a sinister presence starts to close in on her. Taryn must uncover the grim secret of the village before the darkness pulls her under, and she has to decide whether she can lay the haunting to rest or whether it will take hold of her.
