Jiggy McCue's mum brings home a truly awful pair of underpants from a dodgy market stall, where the seller goes by the name Neville the Devil. The pants turn out to have a mind of their own, and they set about turning Jiggy's life upside down with chaos and mischief. Narrated by Jiggy himself, this comic novel is meant to amuse young readers, and grown-ups enjoy it too. It opens a series that follows Jiggy, his friends Angie and Pete, and their school. This newly revised edition is the most up-to-date version of the story.
