The Lost TreeRunner: An AOI Thriller (The Justar Journal Book 2)

Three years after the authorities burned the books, Grandyn Happerman has vanished. Some of his former allies and a relentless group of hunters have spent more than a thousand days trying to find him. Rumors persist that a few volumes escaped the flames, containing a version of events the state would rather bury. Grandyn, always one step ahead, is piecing together scattered clues that point toward a mysterious journal. In a society where surveillance is everywhere and secrets are against the law, resisting authority carries enormous risk, and it is difficult to tell friend from foe. The search for the books is only half the task, because the vital TreeRunner must also be found. In a land built on lies, how can anyone be sure what is true?
