The Dark Knight's Captive Bride

Richard de Claiborne, the Earl of Dunsmore, is a loyal servant of King Edward, but he resents the order that has tied him in marriage to the daughter of the man who killed his father. The king wants peace in his lands and considers a Marcher lord wedding a Welsh princess a small price to pay for it. Princess Gwenllian has no say in the match. She is given to a man known for his fierceness, and she meets his cruelty with dread, yet she accepts her duty to family and people and vows never to yield to her enemy. Within the walls of his keep she begins to see another side of him, one capable of tenderness and passion. As war gathers again between Wales and England, she finds she has fallen for the enemy.
