Three SCUBA instructors who also enjoy dominant roles in the bedroom run a business aboard a yacht called The Divemaster, where diving and sensual pleasure mix. Archer Banks used to spend his days on tropical beaches and his nights with tourists, drifting from one holiday fling to the next with his friends Miguel Torrez and Tosin Ellis. Then his father dies and leaves him wealthy, with more responsibility than he wanted. Archer decides to refit the family's luxury yacht for diving charters and private adventures, and he hopes his friends will sign on. The first voyage goes badly. Waverly Adams, a woman Archer once had feelings for, is among the passengers, and the crew discovers a sunken treasure that someone would kill for. Waverly soon shows a bolder side, and Archer begins to wonder whether there is more to her than he thought.
