Rising Covenant

Zoe Lake and Aric Winters have built a settled life together, five years after a dangerous showdown at their college. Their future is not yet certain, and Aric has a proposal in mind. Then Zoe's old roommate Paris reappears, and soon Zoe's parents vanish. Paris's links to dark forces run deeper than anyone expected, so the three of them set out on a rescue. Zoe must face the magic she has tried to bury, and she learns that she cannot embrace what lies ahead without confronting her past. The fight ahead promises a bloody end, though no one knows whose blood it will be.
