Cover of Arrival

Arrival

The Eden Project was meant to be a fresh start for humanity. Its goal was to found the first colony beyond our solar system, leaving behind the errors of Earth. Three generations have been born and raised aboard a starship crossing the dark between the stars, and none of them has ever seen open sky or felt wind on their skin. When the colony ship reaches a new world, a small advance team must go down to survey it and send its findings back. The pressure is enormous, since the lives of everyone aboard depend on their work, and time is short. This long, stand-alone science fiction novel follows that team as the plan begins to strain.
