DanTDM, the YouTuber, takes readers into a graphic novel where familiar blocky worlds and characters look quite different. One evening, after a long day of experiments, he and his friend Trayaurus are about to head to bed when a strangely shaped crystal falls from the sky and shatters into five pieces that spread across the landscape. The pair manage to retrieve one fragment, and they soon sense it holds more power than anything they have encountered before.

News then arrives that other shards have turned up, and that a group of pigs has used one to gain the ability to speak. Their old rival Denton has also got hold of a piece, and he is using it for wicked ends, building a machine that makes copies of creatures into a frightening army. Only DanTDM and Trayaurus stand between him and total control. Can they stop him in time?
