Raspberry Truffle Murder

Nikki has recently left Atlanta and her journalism career behind after her husband of twenty years decided to start over in Los Angeles. With her college-bound son, she moves to Maple Hills, a small Vermont town where tourists arrive in force each season. She plans to open a chocolate shop there, but opening day brings tragedy when a hit-and-run driver kills a man just outside her door. The victim turns out to be Steven Denforth, a man the town despised. Soon after he arrived, he bought the local paper and printed damaging stories about some of the community's most prominent people, secrets that many wished had stayed hidden. With everyone a possible suspect, Nikki, a former reporter and an FBI consultant, sets out to uncover the truth. The quiet town hides more trouble than it seems, and her new life depends on getting to the bottom of it.
