My Grape Wedding:

This memoir picks up the story of Laura Bradbury and Franck, the couple first introduced in her earlier books, several years after they met as students on an exchange program. A spontaneous proposal, made far from home, sets off a wedding planning process that quickly grows complicated. Laura juggles the demands of an Oxford law degree with the many small tasks of getting married, including lessons in Catholic practice and fittings with a corset maker who works for the royal family in England. Back in Burgundy, the plans start to fall apart. Guests arrive, the weather turns, the family's wine tastings become something closer to a contest, and a surprise from the priest leaves the couple searching for help from above. Can two people so different hold together until the walk down the aisle?
