Burned to a Crisp

Sally Muccio is planning her summer wedding, and life seems to be settling into a sweet routine. Then the bakery she has worked so hard to build goes up in flames, and her dreams go up with it. Worse, the man found dead in its back room is a client of her sister Gianna, now a public defender. Sally and her best friend Josie have to move their business into the chaotic Muccio household. There, Sally's father has taken up a new career in the funeral trade, her mother has become a beauty pageant winner who likes to parade in bikinis, and an Italian family with a grudge is out for revenge. Sally wants to know where Gianna has gone, what part she played in the death, and what her fiancé is keeping from her. She is determined to uncover the truth before the heat turns on her again.
