Murder at the Clinic

Kat Denham is known for her steamy romance novels, but she decides to try a different kind of story. Her friend Mitzi, an acupuncturist who has transformed her health and is about to marry for the first time later in life, seems like the ideal model for a new heroine. One day Kat is at Mitzi's clinic when a patient, Sandy Hendrick, dies suddenly. Now Kat must solve the death herself, because her own reputation and Mitzi's are both at risk. The suspects multiply: a rival doctor eager for a promotion, the dead woman's unfaithful husband, and members of the clinic staff. Kat devises a sting to draw out the killer, with the help of her loyal dog, Rudy.
