Daman wakes from a long coma with a single violent picture in his head: a car crash, a girl's gaze fixed on him, then stillness. He remembers little else beyond her face and a name, Shreyasi. Trying to make sense of the gaps, he writes down the scenes that come to him in dreams, and his online blog about them becomes a hit. A publisher offers him a deal to turn the posts into a book, and he accepts. Pressure from editors pushes him to soften Shreyasi, the wild and edgy figure who inspired the story, and he goes along with it. That decision draws a menacing woman who insists she is the real Shreyasi and wants him to pay for selling out. Daman must work out who she truly is, what she wants, and what will happen if he refuses to comply.
