Arquez and Palmer: A Detroit Love Saga

Palmer loved Ishmael with everything she had, but she slowly came to see that love alone would not hold them together. Through it all, Arquez was the one who listened when Ishmael let her down. He was Ishmael's closest friend, almost a brother, and Palmer found herself drawn to him despite every reason not to be. She would describe him as caught somewhere between a sweetheart and a jerk. Now she must decide whether to act on feelings that could cost her a bond she already has, or to stay with a man who never fully belongs to her. This is Palmer's story, told in her own voice, and it is set in Detroit.
