Destiny Lost

Sera has built a comfortable, if rough, life on the fringes of the star lanes. She runs small smuggling jobs, enjoys her nights out, and captains her freighter, the Sabrina. Her routine ends when she collects a sealed shipping container at Coburn Station, which draws her into a fight with a ruthless pirate group known as the Mark, all eager to seize its cargo. Inside the box she discovers a woman and a long-lost piece of knowledge from humanity's distant past. The woman, Tanis, knows where the Intrepid, a colony ship that vanished long ago, can be found. Helping her means Sera must confront a past she left in disgrace and trust a crew unlike any she has known.
