Yancey's Ride

Gus Yancey is a man past middle age who has spent the last eight years working on a ranch in northern Colorado. He has worked hard to leave his rough past behind, along with the death of his wife. Then news reaches him that his granddaughter is losing cattle to rustlers in New Mexico, and he sets out in the middle of a bitter winter to help her.

Old habits return on the road, and Yancey soon senses that someone is following him. The pursuer is Laredo Dodson, a bounty hunter with an old wanted poster and orders to bring Yancey in, dead or alive. Along the way Yancey takes on a young traveler named Nate, who is running from a broken romance and knows little about surviving outdoors. Their journey leads them to a strange compound and to unsettling people who are not welcoming.

The trail is full of danger, and Dodson keeps coming.
