The Colonel's Baby: A Military Romance Story

Between shifts at a restaurant near a military base, the narrator is trying to get some studying done when her coworker Tracy announces that a group of Marines has come back in. Reluctantly, she sets her book aside and walks over to take their order. Among the men is a fair-haired, easygoing fellow with striking eyes who greets her with a flirtatious remark. The narrator tries to keep her distance and treat them like any other customers, but the exchange leaves her more intrigued than she wants to admit. This is a light, romantic story about an unexpected meeting that begins over a menu.
