Single Dad's Waitress

Valentine has hit rock bottom. Back in her hometown after a painful breakup, she is waiting tables at a pancake diner, a job she took only because she had nowhere else to turn. One morning a customer arrives with his young daughter, Minnie, and the handsome single father, Ryder, catches her attention at once. He is clear that he wants nothing serious, only a brief summer fling, since his life has no room for anything more once autumn arrives. Valentine knows he is out of reach, yet the flirtation keeps pulling them closer, and both must decide how much they are willing to risk over a few warm months at the diner.
