It has been over 60 years, since I last laid eyes on the enclosed stories, and to read them now, as I approach my 70th year, they still bring me the peace and joy I felt when, as a small child, I read stories from the 20 volume gift set given to us with our purchase of the Encyclopedia Britannica. I hope these stories warm the hearts of you and your loved ones every bit as much as they did mine.
