Sinful King

Growing up in Marbella, the narrator knows the stories about Prince Elias, the heir to the French throne, whose summers there are legendary for excess and parties. Her family owns cottages along the water that he and his entourage rent each year, and her parents have always sent her away during those seasons to keep her clear of the royal set. Now she is home for a summer after years at camp and boarding school. This time the prince arrives quietly, with discreet guards and no companions, and there is no sign of the old revelry. She has been told firmly to keep her distance and never to look his way. Yet keeping away from a man destined to rule France proves harder than she imagined.
