Mujeres Alteradas 2

Mujeres Alteradas is a comic strip collection by the Argentine cartoonist Maitena, following a group of women through the everyday frustrations of modern life. In this second volume, the humor turns on relationships, work, motherhood, body image and the pressures placed on women to be everything at once. Drawn in a quick, familiar style, the strips capture moments of exhaustion, irritation and wry self-recognition. Each small panel sets up a recognisable situation and lands on a punchline that tends to feel uncomfortably accurate. The result is a light, sharp book for readers who enjoy observational cartoons about women's lives.
