This volume brings together two books by G.K. Chesterton, written in the early twentieth century. Taken together, the two works set out the central convictions of Christianity and present the faith as a living experience rather than a list of abstract ideas. They speak to anyone who wants to think seriously about belief and about the world it is meant to explain.
