Ninth in the Holding Their Own series, this post-apocalyptic tale returns to a Texas still struggling to rebuild after disaster. Bishop has a scheme to draw Terri away from the heavy load of running the Alliance, but it goes badly wrong, leaving the couple cut off, pursued and caught up in a modern range war.
