The survivors of a zombie outbreak continue their struggle in a world that now belongs to the dead. This large collection follows the group after the prison raid that tore apart their hard-won shelter. Rick Grimes fights to keep his people alive, and they find a brief, uneasy refuge in a settlement called The Community. That fragile peace does not last, and the devastation that follows pushes them to confront what living, rather than merely surviving, will demand. The stories are grim and violent, built on the question of how far people will go to protect one another.
