Love at First Spite

Nori Davis is happy with her single life, filled with nights out with friends, quiet evenings at home, and plenty of attention from men she has no interest in. Then a man arrives who is unlike anyone she has met, and his reasons for approaching her are not what they seem. Maxwell Watson has no room in his life for romance. Running his own lounge keeps him busy from morning until closing, and he has little time for anything else. Still, when he notices a customer who clearly isn't pleased with the place, he feels compelled to find out why. What begins as a simple conversation soon becomes a rush of energy neither of them can ignore, and before long they are caught in a whirlwind of feelings they never planned on.
